Allergy Test
Allergy tests can take the form of blood or skin tests. An allergy specialist conducts these tests under his guidance, which has been fully trained through strict practices to carry tests and their treatments using best methods.Skin tests can be further categorized into two of its types. In first, skin tests are done on back or forearm by placing the allergen directly on the skin & then pricking subcutaneously. The positive test for the allergens would indicate redness and swell in the area of test skin. In other, tests are done by injecting the allergen into the skin intradermally. In many cases, results can be studied at the time of tests. Doctors may prescribe test according to the suspected allergen. Skin pricking test is still considered as preferable gold standard test.
